FP7 Smarthouse-Smartgrid

Pilots

Software implementations for SmartHouse/SmartGrid concepts will be available before from 2010 onwards. By then, three field tests are envisioned in which the systems developed within the project will be tested in real-world environments.

More information will be available after the start of the field tests. Just take a look at the brief description of each field test's goals below.

Field Trial A: Mass Application

Location: Hoogkerk, the Netherlands

Content: Automatic aggregated control of end-user systems for energy efficiency combined with testing of information exchange with enterprise systems using data traffic at mass-application strengths.

Field Trial B: Win-Win-Win Situations

Location: Mannheim, Germany

Content: Create win-win-win situations with a domestic cluster of ISET BEMI plus in selected grid segments with end-users in order to improve energy efficiency, energy supply cost and grid operation.

Field Trial C: Security of Supply

Location: Meltemi, Greece

Content: Reaction to critical situations of a cluster of Smart Houses to enhance the security of supply.
